STAND AGAINST RACISM
Make a Difference Today
Our mission is to stand firmly but peacefully against any form of racism executed towards any racial, ethnic, and/or religious group.
To protect the dignity and rights of all humans.
To value the life and dignity of all individuals.
To engage all groups to embrace the concept of protecting all, especially the most vulnerably and marginalized.
To educate, protect, and advocate for all issues of racial injustice in all major governmental areas of life.
To engage all groups including but not limited to professional groups, suburban groups , educational groups, mental health groups, and law enforcement groups to work together in the delivery of justice and in the fight against all forms of racism--overt, covert, implicit, explicit, violent, and debilitating actions.
We are only as strong as our weakest link therefore, I envision the participation of all, the humanity of all, the sensitivity of all, the spirituality of ALL WORKING DAILY TO ERADICATE the ugliness and inhumaneness of racism. ALL ARE RESPONSIBLE AND ALL ARE INCLUDED.
Our collective efforts can root out injustice, transform institutions, and create a world that wipes out fear, violence, and racial disparities.
WHO ARE WE
WIPING OUT FEAR, VIOLENCE, AND DISPARATIES TOGETHER
We are citizens, educators, professionals, families, and parents. We are suburbia, with the desire to keep our families, and children safe. No on should have to live in fear of having the talk and fear of getting the call that our loved one is dead. We are suburbia and we care about all races, and all of humanity. We are dedicated to make changes that positively impact all.
WHY DO WE EXIST
Reinforcing our Commitment
We exist because we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Sick of doing the right thing and getting negative results. Sick of our children, regardless of their success, still living in the shadow of fear. We are sick and tired of hearing a scream of, "something ain’t right and what more can I do?" Sick of making the urgent call just to make sure that all is OK. Sick of being treated less than human and always treated as a suspect.
We are suburbia. We have power.
